氟化铥(III)

Thulium(III) fluoride, anhydrous is used for glass doping and to enhance mid-IR emission in oxyfluoride glass ceramics. It is also used to improve ultraviolet and visible upconversion fluorescence in fluorinated glasses.

It is hygroscopic. Incompatible with strong reducing agents.
