General description【一般描述】	D-Panthenol also called dexpanthenol, belongs to the vitamin B₅family. It is a stable analog of pantothenic acid with an alcohol functional group.
Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】	D-Panthenol is used as a component of skin ointments for treating lesions. It has anti-inflammatory functionality and protects skin elasticity by eliciting moisturizing effect making it a prime cosmetic ingredient. D-Panthenol may promote epithelium healing and is used as an ophthalmic solution ingredient. It promotes skin hydration by its barrier-improving and wound healing property.
