| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | C-C motif chemokine ligand 19 (CCL19) is involved in adaptive immune system. It recruits monocytes, macrophages, antigen presenting dendritic cells and naive T-cells to secondary lymphoid organs by activation of C-C motif chemokine receptor 7 (CCR7). The protein controls cell migration and angiogenesis in many types of diseases. CCL19 is upregulated in human atherosclerotic lesions. It is also involved in the development of various inflammatory disorders such as asthma, atherosclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis, and might be associated with the pathogenesis of rickettsiae infection. |
