| General description【一般描述】 | Cluster of differentiation 11c (CD11c), also known as integrin subunit α X (ITGAX), is an antigen receptor, encoded by the gene mapped to human chromosome 16p11.2. The encode protein belongs to the adhesion molecule integrin family and is mainly expressed in natural killer cells, macrophages and even some activated B and T cells. The antibody BU15 reacts with CD11c (alphaX, p150), a 150 kDa integrin expressed mainly on dendritic cells and tissue macrophages. |

Overexpression of CD11c in CD8+ cells might lead to the development of Behcet′s disease (BD). |
