| General description【一般描述】 | Recognizes the furin cleavage site (58-60 kDa) of ADAM-10. Detects the latent form of the enzyme. ADAM is a member of the disintegrin and metalloproteinase family of proteins which possess both adhesion and zinc protease functions. ADAM-10 is a sheddase with both a secreted and membrane-bound form. ADAM-10 null mice are embryonically lethal with neural and cardiac defects. Rabbit anti-ADAM-10 antibody can localize human ADAM 10 and does not detect other ADAMs. |
