| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | Myogenic differentiation 1 (MYOD1) associates with histone-modifying enzymes and stimulates muscle differentiation by elevating the expression of histone H3 mono methyl K4 (H3K4me1) and histone H3 acetyl 27 (H3K27ac). MyoD1 staining can be considered as a key adjunct in the sorting of pediatric soft-tissue sarcomas. Mutation in the gene is associated with the pathogenesis of perinatally lethal fetal akinesia. |
