| Application【应用】 | Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: IHC-P: 1:100-1:1000, WB: 1:500-1:3000, IHC-Wm: 1:50-1:500, Immunostaining: Assay-dependent dilution. Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the end user. Anti-PCNA antibody has been used in the detection of proliferating cells by immunofluorescence. |
| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | This protein is an auxiliary protein of DNA polymerase delta and is involved in the control of eukaryotic DNA replication by increasing the polymerase′s processibility during elongation of the leading strand. Proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) controls the production of the leading and lagging strands, which are required for the duplication of DNA. It acts as a cell cycle regulatory protein. This protein regulates apoptosis. PCNA is also involved in non-replicative DNA synthesis events. |
