| General description【一般描述】 | PHLPP2 (PH domain and leucine-rich repeat protein phosphatases 2) is a membrane-bound protein with dual functions as a tumor suppressor and a protein phosphatase. It mediates dephosphorylation of ′Ser-473′ of AKT1, ′Ser-660′ of PRKCB isoform beta-II and ′Ser-657′ of PRKCA as well as AKT3 phosphorylation. Dephosphorylation of AKT1, PRKCA and PRKCB leads to their destabilization and degradation and inhibits cancer cell proliferation. |
