SLC39A6/LIV1 is involves in important processes such as epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in human pancreatic, breast, and prostate cancer cells. SLC39A6/LIV1 has been shown to be a critical mediator responsible for HDACi-induced apoptosis. |
