| General description【一般描述】 | Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 1 (HAVCR1) or T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin protein (TIM-1) is a type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein. The protein is found in the apical membrane of cells. It is expressed in the kidney, testis and activated CD4+ T-cells. It possesses a six-cysteine immunoglobulin-like domain, a T/SP rich domain and two N-glycosylation sites. The TIM-1 gene is localized on human chromosome 5q33.2. |
