DUBs possess conserved catalytic regions known as the ′cys domain′ and the ′his domain.′ There are 2 distinct families of DUBs: ubiquitin-specific processing proteases (UBPs, or USPs) and ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolases (UCHs). |
