| General description【一般描述】 | HAYFLICK Broth supplemented with horse serum provides useable cholesterol and fatty acids. Deoxyribonucleic acid provides purine and pyrimidine bases, which cannot be synthesized by mycoplasmas. A color change of the medium to yellow or purple indicates the growth of mycoplasmas due to the presence of phenol red. Penicillin inhibits the growth of accompanying bacterial flora. |
