| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | α1-Antichymotrypsin (α1-ACT) can block the functions of various serine proteases like chymotrypsin and cathepsin G. It serves as a potential therapeutic target of endometrial carcinoma (EC). Specific inhibitor of chymotrypsin-like serine proteases. Promotes amyloid-β polymerization in vitro and in vivo. Levels in plasma and cerebrospinal fluid have been found to correlate with progression of dementia in Alzheimer′s patients and induce phosphorylation of tau protein in neurons. |
