Blocks LPS-induced tyrosine phosphorylation of a p42^MAPK/ERK2 protein substrate. Reduces the expression of iNOS and COX-2 in lungs of rats treated with carrageenan. Blocks glucocorticoid-induced COX-2 activity in human amnion cells (IC₅₀ = 15.38 µM).
