Fluoropore^® membrane is a hydrophobic composed of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) polymer. The PTFE is bonded to high-density polyethylene support to improve filtering applications. Fluoropore^® membrane filter finds applications in air monitoring, filtering, and venting gases, in ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy, in clarifying acids, bases, and solvents.

Fluoropore^® Membrane Filter has been used:

• for sample collection from cookstove or chimney emissions for PM2.5 particulate matter collection
• as a filter for measuring aerosol mass concentration
• to filter out particles from the air stream
