| General description【一般描述】 | Also known as Lysine-specific demethylase 5D, this histone demethylase is specific for ′Lys-4′ of histone H3 and is known to play a central role in histone function and spermatogenesis. It demethylates trimethylated and dimethylated, but not monomethylated H3 ′Lys-4′. Uniprot.org states two different isoforms of this enzyme. |
