| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | Calcyclin binding protein (CACYBP), highly expressed in brain neurons, is involved in calcium-dependent ubiquitination and proteosomal degradation of target proteins. CACYBP serves as an adaptor protein in ubiquitin E3 complexes and participates in the ubiquitin-mediated degradation of β-catenin. CACYBP is also involved in cell growth inhibition and cell differentiation. CACYBP is a potential inhibitor of cell growth and invasion of gastric cancer cells. Overexpression of CACYBP leads to the suppression of growth in renal cell carcinoma. |
