| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | Girard reagents facilitate the isolation of carbonyl compounds from their complex mixtures, by generating water-soluble hydrazones. These reagents are sensitive and selective. Girard P reagent is used for the derivatization of oxosteroids to form the corresponding Girard hydrazones, which can be detected by tandem mass spectroscopy or electrospray (ES) mass spectrometry. |
