| General description【一般描述】 | FAM21C, also known as WASH complex subunit FAM21C, is a part of the a 500 kDa core complex that allows the Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein (WASH) function. FAM21C can be found in the membranes of early endosomes. FAM21C cooperates with CAPZ and hinders its actin-capping activity, links WASH to endosomes, and is required for WASH-dependent retromer-mediated sorting. |
