Bis-Tris Bicine EDTA buffer is commonly used as a transfer buffer for Western blotting.

Contents of one pouch, when dissolved in 500 mL of ultrapure water, will yield a 1X solution containing 25 mM Bicine, 25 mM Bis-Tris, 1 mM EDTA, pH 7.2 at 25 ℃. Contents tested to be DNAse, RNAse, Protease, and Nickase free.
