The chronic treatment with LCAT activator compound A results in a significant increase in HDLc, HDL particle, size, plasma apolipoprotein A-I level, plasma cholesteryl ester to free cholesterol ratio, and a significant reduction in very low-density lipoprotein cholesterol in hamsters. |
