| General description【一般描述】 | Galectin-3 belongs to the galectin gene family defined by the specificity of a carbohydrate recognition domain (CRD) for Gal/Lac and expression is usually elevated in a wide range of neoplastic cell types. The galectin CRD consists of 135 amino acids. Galectin-3 has been shown to effect tumor development and progression. |
