Azocarmine G may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte in food and beverages using high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with diode-array detector (HPLC-DAD). Azocarmine G is a synthetic dye, commonly used in food and beverages to restore their original appearance, in situations where, the color is affected by processing, storage, packaging and distribution. |
