It may be used as an acyl acceptor in the determination of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) acyltransferase (LPAAT) activity. |
| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | Lyso-platelet activating factor (lyso-PAF) can stimulate inflammation in a murine model of pleurisy. It acts as a stable metabolite and a precursor of PAF. The turnover of lyso-PAF to PAF is expected to induce continued inflammation in target organs or tissues. |
